Tragedy in the United States, Rondale Moore is dead

An’immense tragedy has shocked the world of American football: Rondale Moore, receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, was found dead in his hometown of New Albany, N’Indiana. The cause of death has not been released by local authorities. “The NFL is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Rondale Moore. Our thoughts are with Rondale’s family, friends and teammates at this very difficult time” reads the statement issued by the professional American football league on its official website.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rondale Moore – the Minnesota Vikings wrote.

Pending a better understanding of how this happened, we have spoken with Rondale’s family to offer our condolences and provide the club’s full support. We are also in contact with our players, coaches and staff and will make psychological support and emotional support resources available to anyone in need. Our thoughts are with Rondale’s family and friends at this devastating time”.

Moore, who was only 25 years old, had joined the Minnesota Vikings last March during the 2025 free agency cycle, but his new opportunity was immediately compromised by a serious left knee injury. “I am devastated by the news of Rondale’s death. Although Rondale had been a member of the Vikings for a short time, he was someone we knew well and cared about deeply” said team coach Kevin O’Connell.

“He was a humble, quiet and respectful young man who was proud of his roots in’Indiana. As a player he was always very disciplined and resilient despite the difficulties he faced several times due to numerous injuries” he concluded.

On social media thousands of fans sent messages of support to Rondale Moore’s family and a vigil was held in New Albany to remember the young champion who passed away at just 25 years old.
