A Spurs fan insulted Declan Rice, an Arsenal player, using the’company image of the 27-year-old midfielder from Arteta’s team. An unfortunate incident that will lead to major consequences, especially for the Tottenham fan.
The misdeed happened at the moment when Declan Rice was about to take a corner kick. A fan did not hesitate to pull out his smartphone and show the picture of his partner. Fortunately, Declan Rice did not notice anything and continued playing as if nothing had happened. This is not the first time that Declan Rice has had to deal with a similar incident related to the’physical appearance of his wife, Lauren Fryer.
In April, he had spoken publicly about his family’s abuse on social media. “My wife is the’love of my life and there’s no one better for me” his clear words against the haters. Lauren Fryer, the mother of his son, herself had to shut down her social media accounts because of the constant harassment she suffered. Rebekah Vardy, wife of Jamie Vardy, recently defended Declan Rice’s partner: “It is truly disgusting what Lauren Fryer has been subjected to. Unfortunately, nowadays it’s so easy to hide behind a keyboard”.
In England all public opinion expects an exemplary punishment for the Spurs fan who showed the photo of Lauren Fryer to “bash” the Arsenal midfielder. Most likely, she will no longer be allowed into the stadium.
