Atalanta, Percassi moved to thank Pasalic
Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi at Sky microphones commented on Dea’s feat against Borussia Dortmund: “This feat is just behind the one in Dublin, but only because in Dublin we won a trophy. Tonight the perfect game was played. A big congratulations to the coach, the boys and the crowd that was extraordinary from the first to the last minute. Atalanta is this thing here”.

The coach always believed in it and, despite the few days at his disposal, he managed to strike the right chords. Percassi does not hide his emotion: “I am moved because over the years we have experienced many glorious matches but what really emerged this evening is Atalanta. Even in these months when there have been difficulties between those who have expressed support and those who have turned up their noses. We must know how to work even in mistakes with great humility and great conviction”.
Among the draggers there’s definitely Pasalic, a genuine team man: “He impressed me last Sunday when he thanked the club and said he was proud to wear these colors. We need players who are 100 percent dedicated to Atalanta with head, heart and mentality. Pasalic has been a decisive footballer on many occasions over the years, but tonight the performance level of everyone was very high. We are also happy humanly because of his father’s serious bereavement. At the time, when he came from Chelsea, his father was the first to be convinced about Atalanta.
