Late, at least for the moment, Marc Marquez, who ended the session with a sixth place finish. The reigning World Champion had some difficulty finding the right feeling, so much so that he found himself 426 thousandths behind the session leader. Behind him was teammate Pecco Bagnaia, -19 thousandths right behind Marc Marquez.

“It’s not that the new Desmosedici has so many differences from the 2025 one, but those few changes, for me, are the right ones. I am more comfortable in the saddle and riding, I was looking for that and the prospects are good. Now we get serious, though: it is difficult to understand the values in the field right away but I am convinced that we have worked well”, the words of Pecco Bagnaia himself.

“You cannot be the fastest in every race, but my goal is to find continuity on all tracks. In these first outings I expect to grow step by step over the weekend”, the thought, however, of Marc Marquez, the big favorite to win the World Championship again.
