Marco Bezzecchi to scream in this start of the World Championship. The Aprilia rider won in Austin his third consecutive Grand Prix, the fifth considering the last two races of the last World Championship.

The Rimini champion led all the races from the first to the last lap. An absolute domination that consoles him after the fall in Saturday’s Sprint race at the Circuit of the Americas.

“I had managed well but I let myself get caught and I made a freaking mistake. I’m happy, I’ve been dreaming for a long time to do well here, I’ve always liked it as a track but I had never finished the way I wanted to. To have a race like this is great. Thanks to the team that has always been there for me.”

Unlike the Sprint, the Rimini driver was perfect in Sunday’s race: “It was not easy, far from it. The race is tough, the track leads you to mistakes with strong hits and hairpins, especially when you empty the tank. I kept my concentration high without making any mistakes, I knew I could do well, I’m happy.”

Bezzecchi revealed that he spoke with two other great current protagonists of Italian sport like Jannik Sinner and Andrea Kimi Antonelli: “Jannik was amazing, I’m a fan of his. He contacted me after Brazil, it was a great satisfaction to exchange messages, I hope to see him. Mythical support from these two athletes-Italian pride. With Kimi we spoke this morning, I did not see the race live. I sent him a message, I will watch it tonight.”
