Serie A 2025-2026: Juventus-Genoa, the likely lineups

Juventus receives Genoa at Allianz Stadium with a clear goal: to move closer to fourth place. To succeed, however, missteps (like the recent one against Sassuolo) are no longer allowed. Facing them will be the Ligurians, stuck on 33 points and still searching for mathematical salvation. Genoa, in fact, must continue to look over their shoulders and cannot afford drops in concentration.

The precedents clearly smile on Juventus: out of 145 confrontations, the Bianconeri have scored 88 victories, against 27 for the Rossoblù and 30 draws. In the first leg, on the second day, the Turin team imposed itself 1-0 thanks to Vlahovic’s goal.

In Juventus’ house, Spalletti does not intend to risk Vlahovic from the first minute: at the center of the attack there will be Boga, supported by Conceição, McKennie and Yildiz. In the midfield, the Thuram-Locatelli pair is confirmed, while Perin will be between the posts.

In Genoa, De Rossi has to do without Norton-Cuffy: on the right flank there is space for Ellertsson. On the three-quarter Baldanzi is favored over Messias to flank Vitinha behind Colombo. In defense Ostigard will lead the unit with Marcandalli and Vasquez.

Probable formations:

Juventus (4-2-3-1): Perin; Kalulu, Bremer, Kelly, Cambiaso; Thuram, Locatelli; Conceição, McKennie, Yildiz; Boga. All. Spalletti.

Genoa (3-4-2-1): Bijlow; Marcandalli, Ostigard, Vasquez; Ellertsson, Malinovskyi, Frendrup, Martin; Baldanzi, Vitinha; Colombo. All. De Rossi.
