Serie A 2025-2026: Napoli-Milan, the likely lineups

The scent of big nights returns to the Maradona, where Napoli and Milan close the 31st day with a challenge with enormous weight in the race for the top spot. It is not only a clash for second place (but a real test in the chase for the leading Inter).
The Azzurri arrive at their best moment, dragged by three consecutive victories that have revived enthusiasm and ambitions. Conte’s team has regained its rhythm and confidence, making its stadium a difficult fortress to conquer (although some recent defensive carelessness suggests caution).
Accordingly, Milan, on the other hand, comes with the awareness of those who have already demonstrated solidity in the big matches. The Rossoneri have built many of their certainties away from the San Siro, showing balance and the ability to strike at decisive moments. Two teams with different characteristics, but sharing the same goal: to stay hooked to the Scudetto train until the last.
In Napoli, a doubt remains in defense, with Oliveira slightly ahead of Juan Jesus. In midfield, Politano’s condition is to be evaluated (with Gutierrez ready from the 1′ in case of forfeit). In attack, Hojlund will be supported by De Bruyne and McTominay.
In Milan, the Rabiot-related scare is over, while Leao should be available although Pulisic and Nkunku will start up front. In midfield confirmation for Fofana.
Probable formations:
Napoli (3-4-2-1): Milinkovic-Savic; Beukema, Buongiorno, Oliveira; Politano, Anguissa, Lobotka; De Bruyne, McTominay; Hojlund. All. Conte.
Milan (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Pulisic, Nkunku. All. Allegri.
