Serie A 2025-2026: Udinese-Como, the likely lineups

Como’s Champions dream also passes through Udine. At the Bluenergy Stadium is staged a challenge that compares European ambitions and ranking tranquility. On one side Udinese, now close to salvation, and on the other a surprising Como that continues to chase an increasingly concrete goal.
Cesc Fàbregas’ team arrives at this appointment in its best moment of the season, boosted by a series of results that has changed the face of the season. The Larians are not just winning, but convincing in balance and personality, even on the road. Udine, however, represents an obstacle that is anything but easy. The Friulians, protagonists of an up-and-down championship, have shown especially at home that they can create difficulties for anyone. The success in Genoa before the break restored confidence in the environment. The Easter Monday challenge thus turns into an important crossroads (a piece of the Larian club’s history is up for grabs).
In Udinese, the ballot between Okoye and Padelli remains open (with the Nigerian favored). In midfield, few changes, with Atta replacing the disqualified Davis behind Zaniolo.
In Como, Fàbregas must do without Ramos in defense (Kempf in his place), while on the right flank the doubt remains between Van der Brempt and Smolcic. In attack Douvikas will be supported by the usual trio led by Nico Paz.
Probable formations:
Udinese (3-5-1-1): Okoye; Kristensen, Kabasele, Solet; Ehizibue, Piotrowski, Karlstrom, Ekkelenkamp, Kamara; Atta; Zaniolo. All. Runjaic.
Como (4-2-3-1): Butez; Smolcic, Kempf, Diego Carlos, Valle; Da Cunha, Perrone; Diao, Nico Paz, Baturina; Douvikas. All. Fàbregas.
