Germani Brescia market, Made in USA reinforcement is official

Germani Brescia has officially found the player who will replace CJ Massinburg, out of action due to a new injury after the ones that had already kept him in the pits in October and November: he is Jayden Nunn, a 193-centimeter U.S. guard, who arrives in Italy at the conclusion of the Austin Spurs’ season in the G-League playoffs (out in the first round against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers), thus going to reinforce the roster at Matteo Cotelli’s disposal.
The White and Blue club announced Nunn’s arrival on Tuesday evening, specifying that the agreement between player and club will be valid until the end of this season. “A dynamic and explosive player,” Germani Brescia described him in its official presentation statement, “Jayden Nunn stands out for his offensive versatility. He is, in fact, adept at both creating play for his teammates and building effective individual solutions, making himself dangerous in the scoring phase.”
Out of Baylor University, close to turning 23 (he was born on May 7, 2003), Jayden Nunn has played 33 games with the Austin Spurs this season, 16 of them as a starter, averaging 13.3 points and a 48.3 percent scoring average from the field. While he is not a classic shooter (he averages 3.3 attempts from distance), he has a good scoring percentage, coming in at 35.2%. Nunn also boasts an average of 2.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Germani Brescia, which after 23 league games shares the top of the Serie A standings with Virtus Bologna, is therefore counting on Nunn’s qualities for the last five games of the regular season, which see the biancazzurri facing two consecutive away games (April 11 in Venice, April 19 in Trieste) before the home games on April 26 against Treviso and May 10 against Sassari, the latter interspersed with the home game against Tortona on May 3.
