Milan, Adani and Cassano rage at Allegri

The Scudetto race now seems to be over for Milan: this was said by Massimiliano Allegri himself in a press conference after the defeat against Napoli. The Tuscan coach, who now wants to secure fourth place and qualification for the next Champions League, ended up in the crosshairs of fans and critics after the knockout at the Maradona.
To attack him also Daniele Adani and Antonio Cassano, who have always targeted the ex-Juve coach from their program Viva el Fútbol. “Milan, which has been overtaken, went out in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia with Lazio and lost the semifinal of the Italian Super Cup, so the balance, in all honesty, cannot be positive,” said Adani. “You were without Champions, you made only one competition and you cannot be so satisfied, even if you get into the top four.”
Cassano as usual did not spare criticism: “This match perfectly represents the season of a coach that they keep pushing to pass off as one from the National team or in any case from the big bench. I say it clearly: it sucks. It’s true that in the first half the game was slow, but at least there was a team that tried to do something different even though they didn’t have Hojlund and Lukaku, with a striker, Giovane, who arrived recently and was put to play with his back to the goal without almost ever being able to touch the ball.”
“I like three out of five of the strikers very much: Jiménez, Pulisic and Nkunku. But there is no connection between them for a simple reason: everything is played randomly. I said this back in October. I thought Allegri sucked, but not to this extent… Maybe he’ll finish second or third, but it doesn’t change anything: this season has been a dilapidated affair. I can’t think that half an hour from the end you don’t have the courage to play the game.”
Then Fantantonio turned directly to Allegri: “I’d like to ask him a question: you’ve always said that whoever comes second is a failure. Then explain something to me: you haven’t won anything for eight years. What should we say?”
