D'Angelo Harrison stellar, Roseto no longer last in the standings

There is the signature in big letters of D’Angelo Harrison on the victory of Liofilchem Roseto against Sella Cento 89-71, with the hooking in the standings against Pistoia, bypassed thanks to the favorable direct clash. For the guests, it was the eighth consecutive defeat, accompanied by the hard protest of the red-and-white fans also present in the midweek shift.
Total emergency for coach Finelli, who is without Cinciarini, Donadoni and Timperi (with Sabatino and Durante on the roster but unavailable). Despite reduced rotations, Harrison once again drags his team with a dominant 39-point, 49-assessment performance.
The start is all Abruzzi’s: Laquintana unlocks the score and, after two early mistakes, Harrison signs a three-point play that makes it 5-0 after 2 minutes. Cento finds the first points with Fall and manages to tie at mid-quarter thanks to Tanfoglio’s triple, immediately replicated by Canka (10-7 at 5′). Roseto relies on the talent of Harrison, who alternates plays but remains decisive; Landi from the arc signs the +8 that induces Di Paolantonio to timeout. In the final, two free throws by Harrison himself are worth the first double-digit lead: 26-17 at 10′.
In the second period, the script does not change: protagonists are the Americans on both sides (with Devoe initially more in the shade), while the local lead remains stable around ten points. On 32-25 at 15′, two Devoe penetrations bring Cento back to -3, forcing Finelli to stop the game. However, Roseto reacts: Del Chiaro breaks the host partial, Petrovic capitalizes on an assist from Harrison and the same former Pesaro player takes the lead with eight points in quick succession. Harrison’s final triple closes the first half at 47-34.
On the resumption, Cento tries to come back: Conti and Tiberti reduce the gap to -9, but Harrison answers from the arc. Montano keeps hopes alive with a four-point play (55-47 at 25′). The guests keep nibbling points and, taking advantage of some offensive difficulties of the hosts, pull back to 65-60 at 30′.
In the last quarter, Sella even gets to -3 with Davis, but Roseto keeps control: Cannon responds right away and Harrison comes back to hit. After a Di Paolantonio timeout (67-62), Cento struggles to find the basket and the hosts stretch again to +10. Tanfoglio tries to reopen the game from three (74-65 at 35′), but it’s the last gasp: Roseto closes the accounts for good with Harrison still the protagonist from long distance. In the final there is also room for the A2 debut of young Incoronato. It ends 89-71.
