Football legend Ronaldinho could be confirmed again this year among the big star guests at Vinitaly. The Arena reports. Already in the previous edition, the Brazilian champion brought his contagious smile to the Veronese kermesse, where he was invited to present the wine that bears his name.

He is certainly not the only sports champion linked to a prestigious brand, but “Dinho” is not the only topic of the moment. In fact, a special period is coming up for the Brazilian star: in the next few days Netflix will launch “The One and Only,” the new three-episode docuseries chronicling the life and extraordinary career of the world soccer icon. His possible presence in Verona could therefore become an opportunity to talk not only about wines, but also about this new “journey” inside his personal history.

Other expected VIPs include Sofia Goggia, whose participation, however, remains linked to the Italian ski champion’s schedule commitments. The Azzurra, who took part in the Tricolor rededication ceremony at the Quirinale on Wednesday, plans to take a long break after a busy season: “Now I’m going to disconnect completely, I want to take a month and a half to live my life and detach myself from my work. Last year there was the Olympic goal, so I also worked hard in the spring. This year I plan to live my life away from the slopes.”

There will be no shortage of culinary stars: in fact, Carlo Cracco is confirmed among the VIP guests. The chef has devised a menu that celebrates Emilia-Romagna, interweaving traditional memory and a contemporary look. Cracco presented the “ingredients” of the gastronomic project with which the region will make its mark at Vinitaly 2026. The initiative is divided into two distinct but complementary formats: the “Cracco at Vinitaly” restaurant and the “Piadineria VistaMare.” Both spaces aim to enhance the PDO and PGI excellence of the Emilia-Romagna Food Valley, between research, innovation and conviviality. The restaurant will offer two tasting menus, always paired with local wines.

As for Vinitaly and the City, not to be missed is Ema Stokholma’s DJ set scheduled for Saturday, April 11, starting at 10 p.m. The musical entertainment will be curated in collaboration with the Calabria Region and Rai Radio2 in the City.
