The summer market is also starting to move in Italy and among the most followed names is that of Máximo Perrone. The Argentine midfielder, currently at Como, has ended up in the crosshairs of Inter, which considers him a suitable profile to reinforce the midfield.

The player, 23, has grown a lot in the last season under the guidance of Cesc Fàbregas, becoming a reference point in Como’s system of play. His ability to manage the tempo, recover balls and maintain order in the middle of the field has made him one of the most continuous elements of the team.

Inter is reportedly considering a major investment, with an offer close to 40 million euros. A figure higher than his current market valuation, but consistent with the weight the player has within Como’s project. For the Larian club, it would be a delicate cession from the technical point of view, although significant under the economic one.

One aspect that could affect the operation concerns precisely the position of Fàbregas, who has played a central role in the midfielder’s growth and would hardly accept his departure lightly. At the same time, however, the current context of soccer often leads to evaluating offers of this kind.

On the Inter side, the possible arrival of Perrone would be part of a process of renewal of the midfield. In this sense, it is possible that the Nerazzurri club would part ways with Davide Frattesi, creating space both technically and economically for a new graft.
