National team bench: moving toward choosing top coach

The future of Italian soccer is beginning to take shape. At the federal level, the race seems to be between Malagò, supported by the Lega Serie A, and Abete, who aims to give continuity to Gravina’s initial project. Then there is the question of a new coach, which must be tackled with the utmost calm. There is no shortage of time, considering that, for the friendlies with Greece and Luxembourg, there will be Baldini to lead the Azzurri.
However, it does seem that the new coach of the National Team will be a big one, as also hoped by World Champion Collovati. A coach is needed who is respected and esteemed, as well as a winner. One who can bring the right mentality to a group that has to be built from scratch but needs certainty on the bench.
The most talked about names are two: Conte and Allegri. The former, in fact, has already made it known that considering him is a good idea. Also his president De Laurentiis agrees. Watch out for Allegri. The end of the season at the helm of AC Milan will be decisive to get a good understanding of his future, which, sensationally, may not even be Rossoneri anymore.
Then there is always Mancini. After winning the national title in Qatar, the Mancio would be reflecting on a possible return to the Azzurri bench. Also not to be ruled out is the search for a top foreign coach. There are those who invoke the name of Mourinho, one who, with Italy, has always had an important feeling.
