Omar Aamoun the card king and an example for younger people

Great success for the first edition of Card Fest, conceived by Omar Aamoun, collector, entrepreneur and content creator, founder of Sportycards and well-known face of the CULT program on DAZN. Sportal.it had the chance to meet him during the event in Milan and understood why he is so appreciated: to a great football expertise he also combines a great availability, especially with the youngest, for whom he is a real idol.

“Having here with us a player like Javier Zanetti (one of the guests of honor of the event, ed.) is special – he said -: he is really a piece of bread, always available, he stops with everyone, laughs and jokes. I also had the opportunity to work with Kylian Mbappé: in addition to being a champion, he is above all an exceptional person.”

“The path I took has given me, if you will, a bigger voice,” he then stressed. “This means being able to speak to many young people. I share my passions, but also something personal: I have a 10-month-old baby girl, so I feel even more responsibility to give right messages and offer positive cues to those who follow me.”

Italy will still stay at home… “Not participating in three World Cups in a row is something incredible and very sad, especially for the new generations. We were lucky enough to experience 2006, but so many kids today have never seen a World Cup. I was in Qatar for 40 days: it was a wonderful experience, but without Italy something was missing and it will be missed in America as well.”

Card Fest went great: “The response was really very positive, beyond expectations. The idea of Card Fest is to bring together live the community, which today lives mostly online. To bring all these people together in one space has been incredible. This is just the first of many events: we are on the right track.”
