Brindisi, market in turmoil: new Made in USA graft, Copeland says goodbye but stays in Italy

The Valtur Brindisi has no intention of coming into the playoffs with short breath. After inserting Tajion Jones in place of Blake Francis, the white and blue club has decided to further raise the level of its external department by focusing on a name that has already made its mark in Italy, that of Khalil Ahmad.
The U.S. guard, protagonist of a scintillating season in Pesaro last year, is ready to set foot in our league again. According to reports from Pianeta Basket, the agreement has been reached and Brindisi is ready to welcome a player who had traveled over 20 points per average in A2, distinguishing himself for continuity and ability to create from the dribble.
Ahmad arrives after the parenthesis in Israel with Rishon LeZion, ended with the consensual termination of the contract: Brindisi did not miss the opportunity, aware of adding to the roster a profile capable of changing the face of a playoff series. His arrival coincides with the separation from Zach Copeland, who will not leave Italy, however. In fact, the 1997 class guard, after a bittersweet experience in Apulia, is destined for Sella Cento, ready to insert him in place of Gabe Devoe.
Brindisi has to play two more games in the regular season, against Pistoia on Sunday away and against the other Apulian in the league, Ruvo, on April 26 at PalaPentassuglia. The biancazzurri cannot leave anything to chance if they want to start the playoffs directly from the quarters without going through the serpentine play-in.
