Carmen De Gironimo godmother on the field with the Italian National Parliamentary team
An intense, participated and deeply meaningful day was experienced in the VI Municipality of Rome, at the Liceo Scientifico Statale Edoardo Amaldi, where institutions, school and sport met in the sign of inclusion, respect and equal opportunities.
The initiative, promoted by the VI Municipality of Rome and realized thanks to the commitment of the Italian National Parliamentary Team, led by the manager Remo De Bellis, represented a concrete moment of dialogue and sharing with young people, focusing on the most authentic values of sport.
The day opened in the Institute’s main hall with a participatory and engaging conference, during which the students – attentive, present and deeply receptive – took part in a direct confrontation on the themes of education, personal growth and the value of sport as a social tool.
Following this, the event moved to the field, where the Italian National Parliamentary team met the women’s team of Romulea Calcio, resulting in a match that symbolized inclusion, respect and equal opportunities.
Between the most significant moments, the presence of Emotional & More APS, represented by President Carmen De Gironimo, who intervened as patroness of the event. With her speech, the association brought to the center the value of emotional education and the courage to exorcise fragility, sharing with the children an authentic message of awareness and growth.
Next to her were FIDESM President Laura Lunetta, Hon. Andrea Casu, Hon. Gioacchino Alfano and Romulea President Nicola Villella, testifying to a concrete network between institutions, sports and the territory.
In the field, numerous institutional figures and representatives of the political and social world: from the Hon. Andrea Giagoni to the Hon. Paolo Ciani, up to the FIDESM national secretary and politician Felice Casini, together with the Doctor of Parliament Salvatore Cristiani.
Many protagonists, many friends, all without color or role, united on the field for a message in unison: to take each other by the hand and go beyond obstacles. Also particularly significant was the presence of Hon. Sara Ferretti, the only woman fielded in the Italian National Parliamentary team, a concrete sign of increasingly inclusive and representative participation. The event confirmed how sport, when lived with awareness and values, can become a real tool for education, inclusion and social growth. A strong and shared message: when you take the field with your heart, you can really go beyond all obstacles.
