Lazio and Udinese with no more thoughts put on a show at the'Olimpico

Finale pirotecnico della 34th day of Serie A: the post-match between Lazio and Udinese ended in a draw, 3-3. Two teams with no more thoughts in the league faced each other at the Stadio Olimpico, and it showed on the pitch where Sarri’s and Runjaic’s lineups played with an open mind, especially in the spectacular second half. In the standings, the biancocelesti are eighth on 48 points, Udinese 11th on 44.
In the first half the Capitoline team suffered against the organized defense of the guests, who, on the other hand, immediately sank the blow on 19′: Ehizibue with a bolide surprised Lazio goalkeeper Motta, putting the away team ahead. The Biancocelesti grew as time passed and before halftime created chances with Noslin and Cancellieri. At the expiration, however, it is Motta who saves everything on Atta’s conclusion.
In the second half, the match ignites: at 52′ Lazio equalizes with a great conclusion of Pellegrini, who on the developments of a corner coordinates with the left and beats impartially Okoye. At 69′ Udinese loses Ekkelenkamp, injured, in Buksa. Lazio seemed to have the upper hand on the pitch, Noslin touched the goal after a personal action, Isaksen hit the crossbar at 73′.
Last quarter of the hour was heart-stopping: at 77′ Zaniolo wasted badly in front of the goal, two minutes later Pedro scored Lazio’s overtaking goal with a shot on the turn on Basic’s assist. The Friulians reacted and in the final minutes they scored the counter-take thanks to Atta’s double: in the 86th minute the Frenchman scored on a tap-in after a short rebound by Motta on Bayo’s header, in the 93rd he made it 3-2 on the development of a corner from a defiladed position.
It wasn’t over, in the 95th minute came the 3-3 to seal the challenge: Romagnoli hit the post on Isaksen’s cross, Maldini under the goal made the final equalizer.
