Lando Norris and McLaren strike a blow. The world champion and the team that dominated last season were the stars of the sprint race at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, with Norris taking his first win of the season ahead of teammate Oscar Piastri.

Also on the podium was Ferrari’s top driver Charles Leclerc, who finished ahead of Mercedes driver George Russell. World Championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli got off to a bad start and finished fourth but was penalized for violating track limits several times, slipping to sixth.

Fifth place for Max Verstappen, seventh for Ferrari’s other driver Lewis Hamilton: the two dueled for a long time during the race. Also among the 10 were Gasly, Hadjar and Colapinto. Before the race, a minute’s silence was observed for Alex Zanardi, who passed away on May 1 at the age of 59.
