Xavier Sneed has already opened a new chapter

Literally in the aftermath of the salvation won with Pallacanestro Cantù on the parquet of PalaDesio, despite the 80-72 defeat against Treviso, Xavier Sneed has said goodbye to the company and has already started a new adventure: the American forward has in fact signed an agreement until the close of the season with Hapoel Jerusalem, a club engaged in the Israeli Super League.
The announcement of Sneed’s arrival was made in a video posted on official social networks by Hapoel Jerusalem itself, a club that won this year’s Israeli League Cup and is still largely in the running for the playoffs for the national title (the regular season will end next May 24).
A class of 1997, a native of St. Louis, Xavier Sneed is a Kansas State University product who, after a long wander in the NBA’s developmental league, the G League, chose in 2023 to make the jump to Europe, wearing the undershirts of Brindisi (2023-2024), Bnei Herzliya (still in Israel, in 2024-2025) and finally Cantù, with whom he played in this year that the Brianza club officially closed on Sunday.
In spite of the home loss against Treviso, Cantù celebrated salvation given Dinamo Sassari’s simultaneous defeat against Virtus Bologna, which condemned the islanders to relegation to Serie A2 after 16 consecutive years in the top division, during which they had won a Scudetto, two Italian Cups, two Italian Super Cups and a FIBA Europe Cup.
