Inter market, Bergomi wants Milan column.

Former Inter captain Beppe Bergomi in an interview with La Repubblica spoke about the Nerazzurri’s summer market after winning the 21st Scudetto: “I still say that Inter is the best, not the strongest. The competitors have invested in the market. Inter only inserted one starter, Akanji. And he was restarting from the shock of Munich. Chivu was good at recognizing Inzaghi’s work and adding his ideas, without spoiling the automatisms or putting the players in trouble. I knew he would do well.”
But now the Biscione needs to renew itself: “I read about Muharemovic in his place, I like him: left-handed, alert, he can play both three and four. I would confirm De Vrij as a backup. And we would need a fast defender. Then I would like a technical and physically strong midfielder, like Koné, Rabiot or Khéphren Thuram.”
Nico Paz is also in my sights: “Someone who jumps the man, Nico Paz-style. He is exceptional, although it is difficult to get him at Real Madrid. But that’s the type. On the flanks I really like Palestra, but he is expensive too. A revolution but without risking too much. The goal for next season must be to win the championship, as for Milan, Napoli and Juve. The Champions League is an opportunity.”
Talk about a possible departure of Alessandro Bastoni: “In addition to physical troubles, he suffered an unjustified public pillory. He made a mistake, but he has taken responsibility. It will depend on the offers whether he stays or not. He has great value, he cannot be sold off. I see him doing well in Spain, as in the Premier League.”
