Aldair meets fans in Rome Collect It
After the two very successful Milan editions, Collect It, the most famous Italian card show that, once again, reminds us that collecting is more alive than ever, arrives also in Rome. An unmissable event for every collector, which will feature cards of all types and for all tastes: from the coveted sports cards, to the iconic Pokémon cards, to the great classics such as Magic: The Gathering and the most beloved series such as Lorcana. The appointment is set for May 23 at the Hotel Mercure Roma West but, for those who just can’t wait, the day before, – starting at 6 p.m. – an exclusive Trade Night will be held at Il Covo del Nerd, an informal moment during which it will be possible to meet other collectors, sbustare, exchange and share this great passion together.
The event will take place in a location of more than 2,000 square meters, and will welcome more than 150 exhibitors, from all over Italy and Europe. About 5,000 visitors are expected during the event, confirming the important role played by the event in the collectibles scene. Supporting this edition are the many exceptional partners, first of all Il Covo del Nerd, Name Sponsor of the event. It is joined by Gold Sponsors such as Vault X and CGC, – who renew their valuable partnership for the world of accessories and card grading, respectively – and new partner GTS Distribution. Also crucial is the contribution of Sports Media House, the official Media Partner of the event.
The beating heart of the event will be the main stage, entrusted to the conduction of Beatrice Lorenzi, who will lead the talks and dialogue with sponsors and special guests. The guest of honor for this edition will be soccer legend Aldair, the unforgettable “Pluto.” The historic Roma defender and World Champion with Brazil in 1994 will meet his fans to sign autographs and share anecdotes about his extraordinary career. For the occasion, a commemorative card of the event will be printed as well as an exclusive card dedicated to the champion, the latter obtainable only through the purchase of the Meet&Greet ticket.
Making the experience even more special will be the very rich Artist Alley, a space dedicated to the meeting between fans and some of the most appreciated illustrators of the international scene, where it will be possible to get autographs and celebrate their favorite cards. Among the first confirmed names are three talented Lorcana artists: Federico Maria Cugliari, Matteo Marzocco and Gianluca Barone. Ample space will also be given to competitive play: fans will in fact be able to test themselves in the engaging 4Season “Spring League” tournament – organized in collaboration with Lore League – challenging each other in strategy-intensive matches and making the most of their decks.
Collect IT thus presents itself as an unmissable event for the large community of collectors, a unique opportunity to share their passion, meet artists and sports champions and go in search of the most desired pieces to complete their collection.
