Fiorentina, coach node: all options on the management’s table

While waiting for mathematical salvation, Fiorentina’s gaze is already focused on the future, starting with the technical guidance. The statements of technical director Fabio Paratici, which came before the defeat against Roma, do not clearly define the fate of Paolo Vanoli: they do not rule out a confirmation, but neither do they assure it. However, a confrontation between the parties is planned to clarify programs and intentions.

For his part, Vanoli has already expressed his willingness to continue, strong in the work that allowed him to put back on his feet an initially very complicated classification. More nuanced instead is the position of the ownership and the management, called to outline the project for the relaunch of the club.

Paratici continues to evaluate several profiles for the bench: among them Andoni Iraola, difficult to reach, Domenico Tedesco and Fabio Grosso, who is increasingly growing in the hierarchies.

In the meantime, Vanoli tries to play his cards: he is betting on continuity after having raised the team and hopes that the results can convince the club. However, unlike what happened to Daniele De Rossi with Genoa, renewal will not be automatic even in case of salvation.
