Ligue 1 2025-2026: PSG-Brest, the probable formations

PSPG can make the decisive push on Sunday night to win its 14th French title, its fifth in a row: in fact, at 9 p.m. the Luis Enrique-coached team will play against Brest at the Parc des Princes in Paris, in one of eight matches valid for the 33rd day, which by the way will all be played at the same time but will not feature Lens, the only opponent still in the running for the title that has already played, and won, on Friday night against Nantes (1-0, decisive goal by Mezian Soares at 79′).
The Parisian team has 70 points in the standings with three matches to play, while Racing has 67. This means that with a win, the gap would increase to 6 points and, therefore, only a meltdown as resounding as unlikely by PSG in the last two days would allow Lens to return to a national title that has been missing since 1997-1998.
Among other things, finishing tied on points would still leave Lens with very little chance, since the first criterion for ranking teams with the same score is the overall goal difference, which sees PSG currently at +43 and Lens at +29. In short, even a defeat today by Paris Saint-Germain against Brest and a success by Lens in Wednesday’s direct clash would leave little chance of a comeback.
