Treviso, presenter responds in kind

Some controversy is brewing on social media on the sidelines of Treviso’s salvation party last Sunday. A user made a joking post toward the event’s presenter and speaker, Arianna Polgatti, even posting pictures of her on a Treviso Basket Facebook group.
Under the post came some ironic comments, to which the presenter responded in kind. “Triennial right away,” wrote one user, who received a prickly response from the direct interested party: “To you I don’t comment because you are incommentable. Keep driving buses,” which was followed by a rejoinder: “Congratulations, to a joke that served as a compliment, you respond by insulting and denigrating my profession. If you don’t like the spotlight and the comments that can result from it, I advise you to change jobs.” Then came the clarification.
Some joked about heeled shoes: “They make you change your shoes, that there are no pebbles underneath and then comes the 12-heeled diva ahahah,” “I guess … parquet floors and heels .. they go hand in hand just.” “If I couldn’t they would have told me! But instead … I could,” she replied.
There were those who instead joked about her height: “Without heels she would reach Marcelo’s navel,” said one user who immediately received a fiery retort: “I’m 1.76 and even if I reached the coach’s navel what would be the problem?”.
There were also those who noted an alleged gaffe during the interview with the coach, which the presenter denied: “The joke was referring not only to the tears of May 3 but to an episode they told me backstage personal the company. Can we go further or do we still have to shoot m… x nothing! W our boys! See you again in September.”
Many threw water on the fire to douse the controversy: “Mom what poor comments.. Get a life.. Arianna phenomenal,” “Enough with this criticism of a nice, good and spunky girl, and let’s enjoy ste latest victories!!!”.
