Sky flies with Jannik Sinner: historic record at Internazionali d'Italia

The best ever edition of the Internazionali d’Italia on Sky has just closed: the final of the Rome Masters 1000 between Jannik Sinner and Casper Ruud, which was live from 5.15 on Sky Sport Uno, Sky Sport Tennis and TV8, garnered a total of 4 million 567 thousand average viewers in total audience with 36.7 percent share, 7 million 838 thousand unique viewers and a peak of more than 5 million 530 thousand viewers in total audience at match point.
On Sky, the match registered 1 million 438 thousand average total viewers in total audience with 11.6 percent share. This is the sixth best audience for a tennis match on Sky, thus closing the best ever edition of the Internazionali di Roma in the House of Sport.
On TV8, on the other hand, the average total viewers were 3 million and 130 thousand with 25.2% share. Very good ratings also for the post-match, with Eleonora Cottarelli and her guests who on Sky and TV8 totaled 1 million 412 thousand average total viewers in total audience.
Excellent numbers also for the victory of the pair formed by Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori: the final of the doubles tournament that saw the Azzurri triumph against Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos obtained 616 thousand average total viewers with 5.4% share and 1 million 950 thousand unique viewers.
The triumph of the Azzurri also recorded important numbers on Sky Sport’s digital channels: SkySport.it garnered 463 thousand unique users with 2 million pageviews and 587 thousand video views. The entire tournament reached 2.6 million unique users, 16 million pageviews and 5 million video views on the site.
On social media the final contributed 1.5 million interactions and 18 million video views while the overall edition of the Internationals reached 8 million interactions and 126 million video views.
