Juventus market, Barcelona is serious about Andrea Cambiaso

Barcelona is accelerating for Andrea Cambiaso. What in recent months had been a concrete but never made official interest could soon turn into a real negotiation. The Juventus outfielder has long been liked by Hansi Flick, who especially appreciates his versatility and ability to play multiple roles with tactical intelligence. The German coach, freshly renewed until 2028, considers Cambiaso perfectly in line with the blaugrana’s philosophy of play.
After the first exploratory contacts with the player’s entourage, Barcelona would be ready to sink the blow. This time Juventus, unlike Manchester City FC’s attempt a year and a half ago, is not closing to a transfer. A lot will also depend on qualification for the next Champions League, which at the moment remains far from certain for the Bianconeri.
The valuation of Cambiaso remains high, but far from the 70 million asked in the past by Pep Guardiola: today Juventus could sit at the table for a figure close to 50 million euros.
Legated to the Bianconeri until 2029, Cambiaso earns about 2.5 million a season. The numbers speak of three goals and five assists, but also of a patchy performance that could push the Turin club-and perhaps Luciano Spalletti as well-to consider positively the Barcelona hypothesis.
