Sasha Djordjevic is about to return to coaching in Italy. According to rumors reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serbian coach will be the head coach of Donnie Nelson and Luka Doncic’s new Roma, which has reportedly given the final go-ahead for the coach’s choice.

Djordjevic is returning to Italy for the first time after a three-year stint at Virtus Bologna and the 2021 Scudetto; he later coached Fenerbahce and the Chinese national team. ‘Sale’ is expected to be present at the official presentation of the new Roman club, which should also be attended by NBA star Luka Doncic, one of the most important partners of the new Roman reality born from the ashes of Vanoli Cremona.

In the new club should also join Salvatore Trainotti, now general manager of the men’s national team and Tenezis Roma: the rosea always reports.

In addition to Doncic’s Roma, the birth of another Roman club is also possible, this time linked to Paul Matiasic, owner of Trieste, who is still looking for a sports title to transfer to the capital but would secure the use of the PalaEur.
