Ducati, Tardozzi shows all his frustration

Aprilia confirmed its superiority over Ducati in the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. The house of Noale placed the two riders of the official team, Bezzecchi and Martin, in the first two places in the race on Sunday, with a wide gap on the third classified, the centaur of the Lenovo Ducati team Pecco Bagnaia.
After the race the team manager of the stable of Borgo Panigale, Davide Tardozzi, at the microphones of Sky did not at all hide his frustration for being beaten even on a track on paper favorable to Ducati: “The balance? It definitely stings. Aprilia was better than us, we have to work. Marc Márquez has to get back on track physically, while Pecco is growing. The bike is behind Aprilia, but I am confident in our technicians,” said the Ducati executive.
“We have three-tenths of a gap, and we understood in which phase of the lap they are better than us. Marc had to manage, he didn’t want to exaggerate rightly, it was important to get to the finish line to be ready in the next races.”
On Ducati’s chance to get back in the race: “I think Aprilia is superior, so it will take some time. We have to be patient, we are aware that we need time, even Marc. We keep working to improve, and when he is fully fit, he will show all his speed.”
