Ferrari, comes the breakthrough on Charles Leclerc’s future: official statement

Ferrari has announced the contract renewal of Charles Leclerc: the Monegasque driver, who had been approached by several teams in recent months, has swept away doubts by reinforcing his marriage with the Maranello stable, which began in 2019. Despite little satisfaction in recent years (the best overall result was a second place in 2022), the driver from the Principality believes in the possibilities of the Prancing Horse and has decided to stay for a long time. At the moment, the Modena-based company has not yet disclosed the duration of the new contract.

“I could not be happier to continue the journey with Scuderia Ferrari HP, which for me is much more than a team,” he wrote in a note. “It is the team that I have always loved and dreamed of being a part of since I was a child and which, after all these years, has become a second family for me.

“Together we have shared incredible moments and more difficult ones, but I believe more than ever in the Scuderia and I am deeply grateful to be able to continue fighting for our common goal, which is to bring the world title back to Maranello. Being a Ferrari driver is a dream, but also a responsibility that is never to be taken for granted: I will continue to give my all to bring the Scuderia back to where it deserves to be, which is at the top, for all those who work at Maranello and especially for the fans, who with their passion are its beating heart,” Leclerc concluded.
