Olimpia Milano is back in the scudetto final after a victory in Game 4 against Germani Brescia, ending the semifinal series at 3-1 for the meneghini. Poeta’s team took full advantage of the court factor and closed 91-86 with Brooks as the top scorer with 18 points, in double figures also Nebo (14), LeDay (12) and Shields (12).

“We were good, less consistent than other times in the final, but we take this final with the court factor against a great team – said coach Poeta after the game with Germani -. We also thank the public, they were of great transport.” Now Olimpia awaits who between Virtus Bologna and Venice will be in the finals. “We’ll rest a couple of days, we’ll see who will be our opponent,” are the words reported by realolimpiamilano.

After the 88-72 success in game 1, with Bolmaro as the absolute protagonist with 20 points and 7 rebounds, Milan had stumbled in game 2, surrendering 85-79 on the Brescia parquet, with a devastating Amedeo Della Valle from 28 points. On that very occasion Poeta had chastised his team: “We played an unintelligent game, from the beginning we got nervous with the referees.” The reaction, however, had come on time in Game 3, with a 93-68 win at the Forum that had paved the way for the closing of the series.
