Pre-World Cup 2026 friendlies: Curaçao-Aruba, likely lineups

One week to go: Sunday, June 14 will go straight into Curaçao’s history, it will be the day of the Caribbean national team’s debut at the 2026 World Cup in Canada, the United States and Mexico. For the first time, the islanders will participate in the World Cup, and their debut will be against four-time world champions Germany.
In preparation for the highly anticipated match, Curaçao will take on their cousins from Aruba tonight at 2 a.m. (Italian time), practically the island next door, a hundred kilometers off the coast of Venezuela.
Dick Advocaat is expected to rely on a 3-4-3 form with the trident Chong, Locadia, Hansen in attack, on the wings will be Gaari and Floranus, in midfield the two Bacuba brothers, Juninho and Leandro.
