Vincenzo Montella’s ambitious Turkey takes the field in Fort Lauderdale for its last test match before the start of the 2026 World Cup in North America. The Ottoman national team’s opponent will be Venezuela, which failed to qualify for the World Cup. The former Aeroplanino will field the best lineup, a kind of dress rehearsal ahead of the debut against Australia on Sunday, June 14: the selection from Istanbul, back from six consecutive useful results, is hunting for certainty and enthusiasm.

In Venezuela Ramirez will be the center forward, in the three-quarter there are Martinez, Carmona and Mendoza, Segovia and Casseres are the dam in front of the defense.

Turkey will line up Deniz Gul in attack from the first minute, in the three-quarter there are Uzun, Arda Guler, Yildiz, in the midfield the Ozcan-Kocku pair. The two full-backs chosen by Montella will be Muldur and Kadioglu.
