Cagliari Transfer Market: Torino Caught Off Guard by the Bidding War for Sebastiano Esposito

The path leading to Sebastiano Esposito is becoming increasingly difficult for Torino. In fact, other clubs have also shown interest in the Cagliari striker, increasing competition and inevitably driving up his transfer value.

This scenario is not at all unwelcome to Rossoblù president Tommaso Giulini, who has no intention of letting the player go anytime soon. On the contrary, Cagliari’s top executive welcomes the possibility of a full-blown bidding war breaking out over the striker. It is no coincidence that in recent days he hinted that several offers would be coming in for Esposito, a clear sign of interest extending far beyond that shown by Torino.

Among the clubs closely monitoring the player is Como, which is looking for players who have developed their careers in Italy to include on its UEFA roster. A particularly formidable competitor for the Granata, given the Lombard club’s considerable financial resources.

While Torino’s initial goal was to negotiate a discount from the 12 million euros demanded by Cagliari, the situation has now changed. The player’s valuation has already reached 15 million and could rise further if new suitors decide to enter the race. A scenario that would significantly reduce the Granata club’s chances of signing the striker.
