Milan Transfer Market: Amorim’s Arrival Could Change Leao’s Future

The new Milan is taking shape. The Rossoneri club seems to have decided to go with Amorim as the new coach. The former Manchester United manager can’t wait to take over for Max Allegri.

In fact, a deal has reportedly already been reached: a two-year contract, possibly with an option for a third year, worth around three million euros per season. A young coach (41 years old) who focuses on exciting soccer, exactly what a certain Leao is looking for.

Amorim is Portuguese, just like Leao. The two, of course, know each other. It wouldn’t be out of the question for Amorim himself to try to convince the 1999-born forward to reconsider his plans for the future and, why not, stay with the Rossoneri to start a new era together.

Leao, as is well known, has made it clear that his time with the Rossoneri has come to an end, but his decision is clearly influenced by last season, during which, in his view, he was unable to play as and where he would have liked due to Allegri’s tactical choices. With Amorim, everything could change—even Leao’s future.
