Cantù lays the groundwork with a two-year deal for Moraschini: “Proud and motivated”

Acqua S.Bernardo Pallacanestro Cantù has announced that it has reached a new two-year agreement with Riccardo Moraschini. Since arriving in Brianza in November 2023, Moraschini has quickly earned respect for his leadership skills, both on and off the court. Since then, he has made 113 official appearances in the blue-and-white jersey, helped the team secure promotion to the LBA and win the LNP Italian Cup in the 2024–2025 season, and was ultimately named captain last summer.

In this role, he led the team to secure its place in the league with great authority, proving decisive on more than one occasion in the closing minutes of games thanks to invaluable plays on both ends of the court. After a season in which he averaged 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, Cantù and its captain are now writing a new chapter in their shared history.

“My adventure in Cantù began three years ago,” says Riccardo Moraschini. “Together with the club and our fans, we’ve experienced some truly emotional moments. I’m proud and motivated to continue representing these colors and to lead the team as captain in the coming seasons as well”.
