Marco Bezzecchi: Valentino Rossi’s Surprising Reaction

Valentino Rossi also commented on the unfortunate incident in Brno involving Marco Bezzecchi, who was suspended for one Grand Prix for slapping a track marshal after crashing during the Sprint race at the Czech Republic MotoGP Grand Prix.

He apologized and everything, but we must always stand against violence. The penalty is severe, but that’s because nothing like this has ever happened before. It’s all been blown out of proportion because Marco is the championship leader.”

Bezzecchi apologized for his actions: “I’d like to offer my apologies to the entire MotoGP community for what I did to the track marshal. I’m also sorry because I know how much effort and sacrifice the marshals put in to ensure our safety,” read the official statement from number 72, who then personally apologized to the steward, hugging him.
