The most anticipated event in the world of tennis is just around the corner: Wimbledon returns from Monday, June 29, through Sunday, July 12, broadcast live exclusively on Sky and streamed only on NOW, through 2030. Sky Sport will feature over 750 hours of live coverage of the London tournament, including matches, studio analysis, and in-depth coverage, showcasing the best of men’s and women’s singles and doubles.
Wimbledon coverage will be spread across 11 channels, starting with the dedicated Sky Sport Tennis channel (203), which will provide full coverage of the action on Center Court. Sky Sport Arena (204), on the other hand, will be the channel hosting “Diretta Wimbledon,” a live tournament broadcast that will take viewers minute by minute from court to court to follow matches and decisive shots in real time.
Sky Sport Uno (201) will alternate coverage of the tournament with other major live events in Sky’s lineup, broadcasting all the most important matches; for the occasion, Sky Sport channels 251 through 256 will become Sky Sport Wimbledon 1–6. In addition to all this, Sky Sport 4K will provide coverage of the matches taking place on Center Court. An interesting new feature of this year’s tournament will be the “behind the scenes” coverage on Sky Sport Mix (211), a channel entirely dedicated to the behind-the-scenes action of the London tournament, featuring training sessions, interviews, and all the excitement of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. And thanks to Split Screen, accessible via the green button on the Sky remote, viewers will be able to watch two matches simultaneously on the same screen.
Once again this year, the daily Wimbledon coverage will be enhanced by the Sky Tennis Show, the studio program that will kick off the Center Court broadcast and accompany fans through to the day’s final match. Eleonora Cottarelli will host a program enhanced by Sky Tech and augmented reality, guiding viewers through the tournament’s results, key themes, and star players.
Sky Sport 24 will also feature extensive coverage, with two daily editions produced directly from London: “Il tennis è servito” at 1 p.m. and “Wimbledon Today” at 6 p.m. Throughout the day, there will be plenty of news, highlights, and continuous updates, while in the evening, viewers can tune in to the regular magazine show “The Insider – Wimbledon,” which will provide daily coverage of the tournament with exclusive footage and interviews, alongside the “Wimbledon Highlight Show” featuring recaps of the day’s most important matches.
Coverage will be rounded out by Sky Sport’s official social media channels, the Sky Sport app, and skysport.it, with real-time news, videos, photo galleries, highlights, and live blogs dedicated to Italian players and the most important matches, as well as in-depth analysis from Sky Sport Insider, the premium section of the skysport.it website. Stories and analysis will also be provided by Circoletto Rosso, the newsletter entirely dedicated to tennis and edited by Angelo Carotenuto.
Among the big names on the Sky Sport team covering the two weeks of Wimbledon this year will once again be Boris Becker, a global tennis legend, six-time Grand Slam champion, and three-time Wimbledon champion. Joining him will be Ivan Ljubicic, former world No. 3 in the ATP rankings and longtime coach of Roger Federer; Paolo Bertolucci, winner of the 1976 Davis Cup with Italy; Flavia Pennetta, 2015 U.S. Open champion and four-time Fed Cup winner with the Italian national team, and Renzo Furlan, former world No. 19.
All matches on Center Court and Court 1 will also be commentated on site by Elena Pero, Luca Boschetto, and Pietro Nicolodi, along with Renzo Furlan, Raffaella Reggi, and Fabio Colangelo, as well as the iconic voice of Paolo Bertolucci.
Three correspondents will also be on site in London: Angelo Mangiante, Stefano Meloccaro, and Dalila Setti, who will cover the tournament from the All England Club with interviews, updates, exclusive content, and in-depth analysis, providing a close-up look at everything happening on the courts and behind the scenes. The team of presenters is rounded out in Milan by Laura Golarsa, Stefano Pescosolido, Barbara Rossi, Andrea Arnaboldi, Salvatore Caruso, Nicolò Cotto, Marco Crugnola, and Laura Garrone.
Commentary will be provided by Paolo Aghemo, Riccardo Bisti, Gaia Brunelli, Lorenzo Cazzaniga, Calogero Destro, Peppe Di Giovanni, Federico Ferrero, Alessandro Lupi, Dario Massara, Andrea Paventi, Nicolò Ramella, Matteo Sfolcini, Alessandro Sugoni, and Andrea Voria.
After Wimbledon, the tennis season continues on Sky Sport with over 45 tournaments on both the men’s and women’s circuits from July through November. The spotlight is on the ATP Tour, with complete coverage of all ATP 250 and ATP 500 tournaments, as well as the prestigious ATP Masters 1000 events, from Montreal to Paris. Among the most anticipated events are the men’s US Open (August 31–September 13) and the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin (November 15–22), which will bring together the season’s top eight players. There will also be extensive coverage of the WTA Tour, with broadcasts of all WTA 250, WTA 500, and WTA 1000 tournaments, from Toronto to Wuhan. The schedule will also include the Women’s US Open (August 30–September 13) and the WTA Finals in Riyadh, scheduled for November 7–14.
