Khalia Lanier Re-signed by Numia Vero Volley Milano

Numia Vero Volley Milano has secured another key player for its roster ahead of the 2026/2027 season: Khalia Lanier will once again wear the pink-and-blue jersey. After a standout season, the American outside hitter will continue her tenure with the Milan-based club for the second consecutive year.
During the 2025/2026 season, Lanier established herself as one of the team’s most impactful players, finishing as Milan’s second-leading scorer with a total of 493 points across national and European competitions. Her performance contributed significantly to the team’s success and convinced the club to keep her on the roster.
Born in 1998 and set to turn 28 in September, the American outside hitter brings a wealth of international experience and an already prestigious list of achievements. In her first year with Milan, she helped the team win the Super Cup, establishing herself as one of the key players on the pink-and-blue squad thanks to her explosiveness, offensive power, and reliability at position four.
“I’m truly very happy to continue my journey with Numia Vero Volley Milano,” Lanier said. “Italy has become a second home for me, and I’m grateful to be able to play in such a beautiful country, in one of the most competitive leagues in the world, and above all, for a club like Milano.”
The player then turned her attention to the upcoming season: “I’m excited about the team that’s coming together. Most of the squad has been retained, and we’ll be adding some quality young players. We’ll continue to work and grow together to tackle the season in the best possible way.”
