Alieu Njie is one of the most sought-after players on Torino’s roster, and he is expected to have a very busy summer on the transfer market. Following rumors of interest from several Premier League clubs, including Nottingham Forest, Urbano Cairo is said to have received an initial official offer from Belgium.

In fact, Anderlecht is reported to have submitted a €7 million offer for the young Swedish winger of Gambian descent, who joined Torino in 2024. This is according to Sportitalia. At the moment, Torino’s management has rejected the offer, deeming it too low. But Torino hasn’t completely closed the door: talks remain open, especially if the Anderlecht side makes a higher bid. The Piedmontese club would still like to keep the player for at least one more season; this year, he has played 18 matches between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, scoring one goal.

Njie plays for Sweden’s Under-21 national team and has a contract with Torino through 2029. The 185-centimeter-tall left winger has also attracted interest in Italy: Lecce expressed interest in him a few weeks ago.

The decision regarding Njie’s future is part of a broader transfer market context for Torino, which must deal with several uncertain situations in its attacking lineup during this summer transfer window. While Duvan Zapata is set to renew his contract through 2028 at a reduced salary, Che Adams could leave the club: there have been offers from the Premier League for the Scottish forward, with Brighton and Wolverhampton among the clubs most interested, while Torino values him at around 11–12 million euros.
