Pallacanestro Forlì 2.015 officially announced on Friday the signing of Fabio Mian, the new head coach of the red-and-white team for the 2026–2027 season. A 196 cm forward born in 1992, Mian brings to Romagna a wealth of experience gained over nearly two decades of playing in Serie A and Serie A2.

Having developed as a basketball player in Udine and Varese, Mian has also played for Agrigento, Vanoli Cremona, Pistoia, Aquila Trento, Trieste, Scafati, Trapani, Fortitudo Bologna, and, last season, Real Sebastiani Rieti. His career also includes several call-ups to the national youth teams and a couple to the senior national team, where he generally stood out for his reliability from beyond the arc.

Forlì coach Francesco Nanni is pleased with the new addition: “Fabio will be a key part of our roster. We’re talking about a player with many years of experience in Serie A and Serie A2, capable of scoring in any situation and coming off seasons at the very highest level, including a promotion. We know we’ve signed a top-tier professional, as well as a versatile athlete capable of playing multiple positions and contributing in many ways. We welcome Fabio, his partner, and his two children to our family.”
