Swing Experience Stops in Bergamo: Antonio Faravelli’s Wines Are Well-Received

Antonio Faravelli, a winemaker and avid golfer from Montù Beccaria, in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese region, owner of Cantine Vitea, and promoter of the “Golf and Wine 1895,” was among the key figures at the Swing Experience 2026 event, held at the prestigious Bergamo L’Albenza Golf Club.
The award-winning wines from Cantine Vitea generated great interest. In particular, the Metodo Classico Pinot Nero Pas Dosé, the Pinot Grigio Trame’s, and the Bonarda Gallesio—listed by Italy’s Finest Wines among the best Italian labels, won over the participants: after the tasting, numerous guests chose to purchase them, expressing great appreciation for the quality on offer.
During the awards ceremony, Faravelli also presented the relaunch project for the “Golf and Wine 1895” brand, receiving widespread acclaim from the audience.
The Oltrepò Pavese region, which inspired the project, is one of Lombardy’s most fascinating destinations for those seeking to combine nature, history, and culinary excellence. A land of great winemaking traditions, the region offers landscapes ranging from the plains to vineyard-covered hills and the Apennine Mountains. A natural and historical heritage of great value, enriched over the centuries by the contributions of noble families and religious institutions, which have helped shape the cultural identity of this unique area.
