Four Suitors for Amedeo Della Valle

After reiterating in recent days that he is unwilling to transfer to Maxima Roma—which will compete in the upcoming Serie A season thanks to the title it inherited from Brescia—Amedeo Della Valle is officially looking for a new team. This decision opens up interesting possibilities for the player born in 1993, who spent his last five seasons playing for Brescia.

At least four clubs have expressed interest in the 2021–2022 Serie A MVP: among the teams that competed in the most recent playoffs are Reggio Emilia (for whom he previously played from 2014 to 2018, winning a EuroChallenge and an Italian Super Cup) and Tortona, but a move to a team that finished outside the top eight last season—and which would aim to raise the bar with him—cannot be ruled out: Udine and Cantù, in particular, have reportedly already shown interest in him.

Della Valle is coming off a season in which he averaged 16.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists, and he is ready to take on a new challenge following recent events in Brescia. In addition to the Italian suitors, the possibility of a move abroad cannot yet be ruled out: ADV has, in fact, already played for foreign teams, notably Gran Canaria and Buducnost, winning a Montenegrin league title and a national cup with the latter club.
