Olimpia Milano thanks Zac LeDay: “A model of enthusiasm”

On the same day, Armani Olimpia Milano bid farewell to both Nate Sestina and Zac LeDay. LeDay, a key player last season who helped secure the Treble, is ready for a new athletic challenge.
“Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano wishes Zach LeDay all the best and thanks him for the seasons spent together, which included achieving the historic Treble. LeDay was an important and valued part of the club’s history: during his three years in Milan, he won six trophies and was part of the team that reached the 2021 Final Four. Beyond his achievements, he was a model of enthusiasm, leadership, and positivity—qualities that were greatly appreciated,” according to the official statement from the red-and-white club.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Zac LeDay is expected to join Hapoel Tel Aviv, one of the most prominent and financially well-resourced teams in the entire EuroLeague.
At this point, Olimpia is awaiting official confirmation of its last two signings, namely Marcus Wright (an agreement was reached in recent days) and Garrison Mathews (for the latter, the team is waiting for the NBA transfer window to close on July 15).
