The new era at Milan under Ruben Amorim has officially begun. The team has kicked off training camp with the goal of competing at the highest level again and, as the new coach stated, above all, returning to winning ways.

Following last season’s failure, Gerry Cardinale has personally taken charge of the situation, assembling a new coaching and management staff. The signings of Gonzalo Ramos and Gila are a testament to the Rossoneri owner’s ambition. And, judging by the many transfer rumors circulating, they won’t be the only signings this Rossoneri summer.

To drive home the point that this is the dawn of a new era, Gerry Cardinale arrived at the training camp by landing on the Milanello fields in a helicopter. A move that also pays homage to the past.

A scene that brought to mind the dramatic and spectacular arrivals of Silvio Berlusconi. Just as in the Rossoneri’s glorious past, Gerry Cardinale wants to do things right and prove that those who continue to criticize him are wrong. He feels ready to bring Milan back to the top, just as Silvio Berlusconi did.
