Roma Transfer News: Paulo Dybala’s Contract Extension Through 2027 Is Official

Paulo Dybala will continue to wear the Roma jersey. The Giallorossi have officially announced the renewal of the Argentine forward’s contract, and he will remain in the capital through June 30, 2027.
The agreement was finalized today following a meeting in Trigoria between Roma’s management and the player’s agent, Carlos Novel, during which the final details were worked out. Dybala has signed a one-year extension, without an option for an additional season, with a salary of approximately 3 million euros net per season, plus performance-based bonuses.
“La Joya’s” last season was marred by several physical issues, which is why the club had decided to postpone any decision on his future until the summer. Despite this, keeping the Argentine was considered a priority by new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who is determined to rely on his talent ahead of Roma’s return to the Champions League.
In recent weeks, there was no shortage of interest, particularly from Boca Juniors, but Dybala has consistently expressed his desire to remain with the Giallorossi. With the signing of the new contract, the No. 21 can now focus exclusively on preparing for the new season alongside his teammates.
Dybala himself also expressed great satisfaction in comments made to Roma’s official channels: “This story continues, just as we all wanted. The club, myself, and I hope the fans as well. I’m happy to spend another season here, in this city and in this country, and to once again wear the Roma jersey, which is a privilege for me.”
