Inter is looking for a quality winger who can fill the void the void left by Dumfries, now a Real Madrid player. After Palestra turned them down—he joined Chelsea—the Nerazzurri have explored other options and appear to have decided who to target.

The choice reportedly falls on Spence, a 25-year-old winger for the English national team who performed so well at the World Cup that he was one of the tournament’s breakout stars. Owned by Tottenham, he seems to have completely won over Inter and, above all, coach Chivu.

The Englishman’s transfer fee is by no means insignificant. There is talk of a price tag of around 35 million euros. It’s a significant sum, but one that Inter seems willing to invest, precisely because they believe in Spence’s potential.

After having to say goodbye to Khalaili, Inter doesn’t want to waste any more time. They need a quality winger, and Spence currently appears to be the frontrunner. Now they’ll need to reach an agreement with Tottenham and the player.
