Turin on a scouting mission in England: goalkeeper and right back in their sights

Torino is looking primarily to the English transfer market to secure some key reinforcements for Ignazio Abate’s squad. As for the goalkeeper situation, the Lucas Perri deal is about to move forward: Leeds is close to signing James Trafford from Manchester City and will thus be able to give the green light for the Brazilian goalkeeper’s departure.

Sporting director Petrachi has long had an agreement in place with Perri’s agent and is now ready to seal the deal: Torino is aiming for a loan with an option to buy, and the English club has shown openness to this arrangement. Torino is also tracking Livakovic, but Fenerbahçe wants a permanent transfer.

Torino also hopes to find its new right back in England: according to The Sun, Petrachi and his staff have set their sights on Kayne Ramsay, a winger owned by Charlton Athletic. Ramsay was born in 2000 and has played in the Championship over the past few seasons, where he has demonstrated great reliability and consistency. He can play both as a fullback and as a wide midfielder covering the entire flank in a five-man midfield.

Valued at around one million euros, he has also played for Southampton, Shrewsbury Town, Crewe, Ross County, and Harrogate Town during his career. He came up through Chelsea’s youth system.
