Turin Transfer Market: Full-Court Press on Fiorentina for the Italian National Team Player

Torino’s transfer campaign continues as the club seeks reinforcements for its defense: after securing the signing of Eray Comert (the Swiss international has signed a two-year contract), Petrachi and his staff aim to finalize their second defensive signing in the coming hours.

The Granata have set their sights on Pietro Comuzzo, born in 2005, who is owned by Fiorentina. According to Sky, Torino has significantly stepped up the pressure on Fiorentina for the player set to leave Tuscany: he is one of the players Ignazio Abate requested at the start of the summer. Valued at around 18 million euros, he came up through Fiorentina’s youth academy and made his Serie A debut with the Viola in 2023. Since then, he has played a total of 91 matches across league and cup competitions, and made his senior national team debut last June in two friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece.

On the outgoing front, meanwhile, Torino is also working to find a new home for Alessandro Dellavalle: the defender, born in 2004 and a product of the Granata youth academy, does not fit into Ignazio Abate’s plans following an evaluation conducted during preseason training camp. Over the past two seasons, he played on loan at Modena, and once again, the club’s intention is to find a solution in Serie B. Padova and Cremonese are reportedly showing particular interest in him, although the player might also consider a permanent transfer.
