2026-2027 Europa League: PAOK vs. Dynamo Kyiv, Probable Lineups

Following the 3-2 result in the first leg, played on neutral ground in Lublin, Poland, due to the unstable geopolitical situation in Ukraine, Alessio Lisci’s PAOK has the opportunity to secure its spot in the third qualifying round of the Europa League at home—the penultimate hurdle before the group stage. They’ll face a Dynamo Kyiv side eager to make its mark: the historic club from the Ukrainian capital will do everything in its power to avoid being relegated to the Conference League—the fate of teams eliminated at this stage of qualifying.

A week ago, PAOK managed to overcome an early deficit—caused by Brazhko’s goal in the 4th minute—with goals from Kostantinelias in the 13th minute, Zafeiris in the 38th minute, and Santamaria in the 51st minute. Lonwijk, scoring Dynamo’s second goal in the 78th minute, kept the tie alive, but the black-and-whites from Thessaloniki still hold the advantage heading into Thursday’s match at Toumba Stadium at 7:45 p.m. Italian time.

On the other side is a Dynamo Kyiv that bears little resemblance to the team capable of causing major upsets in European competitions: Already in the first qualifying round, the team coached by Ihor Kostyuk narrowly avoided elimination, prevailing only on penalty kicks against Universitatea Cluj after two 0-0 draws.
